Our Doctors

Dr. Ashley Kanzler is the owner and a doctor at Bradenton Veterinary Emergency.  She is originally from Morehead, Ky and graduated from Auburn University cum laude (War Eagle!) in 2008 and has been practicing emergency medicine ever since.  She loves both surgery and medicine cases and enjoys the rush that emergency medicine provides. 

Dr. Mendez is originally from Dalton, Georgia. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia in 1996 and the Ohio State University where she earned a Masters degree in Animal Science in 2003.  She graduated from Ohio State Veterinary School in 2008 where she gained an interest in emergency medicine and toxicology. Away from the hospital Dr. Mendez and her husband enjoys traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
